Samaritan and St. Mary’s Hospitals Hold “Friendsgiving” Clothing Drive to Help Local Community

Can you help? Samaritan and St. Mary’s hospitals’ Healthy Future Healthy Troy Committee is holding a “Friendsgiving Clothing Drive” from November 7 through December 7.

All month long, we will be looking for donations of new, clean and gently used warm clothing items, including various sizes of coats, gloves/mittens, hats, sweatshirts, sweatpants, scarves, socks and other items.

Also, please consider adopting a special clothing request turkey from the Harvest Tree located in Samaritan Hospital’s main lobby. Drop-off locations for donations at Samaritan include administration, cafeteria, and gift shop; and at human resources at Samaritan and St. Mary’s.

We will deliver donated items to various charities in Rensselaer County next month. For more information, please contact 271-3367.
