Saratoga Family Practice Welcomes New Provider

Brigitte Bekan-Homawoo, M.D., M.P.H.

Brigitte Bekan-Homawoo, M.D., M.P.H., has joined Saratoga Family Practice in Saratoga Springs, New York, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates.

Board-certified in family medicine, Bekan-Homawoo’s professional interests include preventive care and women’s health. She will practice family medicine.

Bekan-Homawoo received her medical degree from the University of Cocody in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. She completed her residency at Ellis Medicine in Schenectady, New York. She earned her Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

She was previously employed as a research scientist with the New York State Department of Health in Albany. She also served as a site investigator and clinical and behavioral research coordinator at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
