St. Peter’s Hospital Hosts Successful Nursing Day of Inquiry
On Friday, November 18, St. Peter’s Hospital hosted its annual Nursing Day of Inquiry. The keynote speaker was Janice M. Beitz, PhD, RN, CS, CNOR, CWOCN, CRNP.
Dr. Beitz, an accomplished researcher, noted wound ostomy care practitioner, and leader in professional nursing practice, spoke on the topic of healthcare-acquired pressure injury prevention, from birth to end of life.
Dr. Beitz is a professor of nursing at the Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden, Rutgers University. A native of Philadelphia, Dr. Beitz has more than 40 years of nursing experience in acute, sub-acute, and outpatient care settings.
