WNYT NewsChannel 13: Dr. Mark Osborn Discusses Immunizations
Dr. Mark Osborn, Chief of Pediatrics at St. Peter’s Hospital, was interviewed by WNYT NewsChannel 13’s Benita Zahn for a story on World Immunization Week. The theme of this year’s campaign is “Protected Together: Immunizations Work.”
In WNYT’s story, Dr. Osborn discussed myths surrounding vaccinations. He explained that while there are risks to any immunization, the bigger risk is to the diseases the vaccines are trying to prevent. Dr. Osborn also discussed increased efforts to vaccinate adults against certain illnesses.
