St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates is excited to welcome experienced orthopedic surgeon Peter Shaughnessy, MD, to St. Peter’s Orthopedics.
Board-certified and fellowship-trained, Dr. Shaughnessy specializes in orthopedic hand surgery. His professional interests include treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve disorders, trigger finger, hand trauma, wrist trauma, and degenerative conditions of the hand (arthritis).
Dr. Shaughnessy received his medical degree from The University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, New York. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and a fellowship in orthopedic hand surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City.
