Albany Associates in Cardiology Welcomes Maureen Orong
Maureen Orong, FNP-BC
Maureen Orong, FNP-BC, has joined Albany Associates in Cardiology, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates.
A board-certified family nurse practitioner, Orong practices in cardiology.
Orong has extensive nursing experience having worked as a nurse in the intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), and surgical intensive care unit (SICU) in the Philippines prior to emigrating to the United States. Since then, she has also worked on the medical surgical and coronary care units at Albany Medical Center.
Orong received her master’s degree from Russell Sage College in Albany and her bachelor’s degree from Silliman University in the Philippines.
Her professional interests include caring for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions and promoting cardiovascular health through education and lifestyle modifications.
