Capital Region Midwifery Welcomes Sarah Prior

Sarah Prior, CNM, MS, C-EFM

Sarah Prior, CNM, MS, C-EFM, has joined Capital Region Midwifery, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates, where she practices full-scope midwifery care.

A certified nurse-midwife, Prior previously worked for Upstate OB/GYN and Albany Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her professional interests include providing safe, comfortable environments for the birthing person; offering support and education regarding preventative cervical cancer screenings; contraceptive care; menstrual management in adolescence; and breastfeeding advocacy.

Prior received her Nurse-Midwifery degree from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She completed her clinical rotation at St. Peter’s Hospital.
