St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates is pleased to welcome Olufemi Akinyede, MD, to St. Peter’s Family Medicine in Latham.
An experienced family medicine physician, Dr. Akinyede, provides comprehensive primary care and family health services to individuals across all stages of life – from infancy to geriatric care.
He is passionate about helping his patients live healthy, productive lives through coordination of care, health promotion, and disease prevention. He strives to empower patients to actively participate in the management of their own health to achieve their unique health goals.
Dr. Akinyede received his medical degree from the University of Lagos’ College of Medicine in Lagos, Nigeria. He completed a family medicine residency at the Cook County-Loyola-Provident Family Medicine Program in Chicago, where he served as chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Akinyede is an avid traveler and also enjoys playing tennis in his spare time.
