Save the Date for “Swinging on a Star Gala” Fundraiser to Benefit Palliative Care Services

Want to Swing on a Star? Save the date! The Community Hospice Foundation and the Northeast Health Foundation present the “Swinging on a Star Gala,” an inaugural celebration and gala fundraiser benefiting The Community Hospice, Eddy Visiting Nurse Association and Palliative Care Partners, to be held Saturday, April 1, 5:30 – 11 p.m., at the Rivers Casino & Resort, 1 Rush St., Schenectady.

Liz Bishop, WRGB CBS 6 News anchor, will serve as mistress of ceremonies. The evening will feature cocktails and gaming, a scrumptious dinner, a mission auction, musical entertainment by The Refrigerators, and dancing all night.

The new event brings together two premier Capital Region events and longtime favorites — The Schenectady Hospice Gala and Eddy VNA’s Cuisine Magic. Hundreds of guests are expected. Black tie preferred.
