Times Union: Were You Seen…at the St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation Catherine McAuley Reception

Were you seen at the St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation Catherine McAuley Reception?

The St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation held a reception on September 14 in appreciation of those who have generously supported the mission of St. Peter’s Hospital. The celebration marked the 153rd anniversary of St. Peter’s Hospital providing compassionate care to the Capital Region community.

The event included the presentation of the Catherine McAuley Award, the Foundation’s highest honor. This year, the award honored Francis “Bert” Trombly, a member of the Foundation Board of Directors for more than 20 years; Dr. Duncan Savage, chief radiation oncologist with St. Peter’s Hospital for more than three decades; and Will Brown, former UAlbany men’s basketball coach and current coach for the Albany Patroons.

Special recognition was also given to SPHP’s minimally invasive surgeons for their role in eclipsing SPHP’s 20,000 da Vinci Robotic Surgery.
