WTEN: Cervical Cancer Awareness

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. Although cervical cancer is the 4th most common form of cancer among women, it can be prevented and and in many cases, cured.

Brooke Lamparello, M.D., of St. Peter’s OB/GYN, appeared on WTEN/News10 to discuss the importance of regular cervical screenings and the efficacy of the HPV vaccine.
