Albany Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery Welcomes William Kutzer

William M. Kutzer, PA-C

William M. Kutzer, PA-C, has joined Albany Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery in Albany, New York, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates. A certified physician assistant (PA), he will practice thoracic surgery.

Previously, Kutzer served as a PA for thoracic surgery at Albany Medical Center and, before that, St. Peter’s Hospital.

Kutzer is a graduate of the Albany-Hudson Valley Community College Physician Assistant Program, a joint venture of Hudson Valley Community College and Albany Medical Center.

He received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Houston.

Prior to his PA education, Kutzer worked in biomedical engineering research at the University of North Carolina, where he also volunteered as a paramedic.

Kutzer’s professional interests include minimally invasive robotic surgery, serving as a clinical preceptor to Albany Medical Center PA students, and being an active committee member of the Albany-Hudson Valley Community College Physician Assistant Program alumni association.
