Shannon Comley Sood, D.O., has joined Capital Region Diabetes and Endocrine Care in Albany, New York, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates.
Board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, Dr. Comley Sood will practice endocrinology. Her professional interests include treating patients with diabetes, disorders of the thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary glands, as well as the care of endocrine disorders in pregnancy.
Dr. Comley Sood received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. She completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in endocrinology at Albany Medical Center in Albany. She is also a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, New York.
Prior to joining Capital Region Diabetes and Endocrine Care, Dr. Comley Sood served as an attending physician at Albany Medical Center and assistant professor of medicine at Albany Medical College in Albany.
