Alexander Garcia, M.D., has joined St. Peter’s Radiation Oncology, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates.
Board-certified in radiation oncology, Dr. Garcia practices out of St. Peter’s and Samaritan hospitals. He previously worked as a radiation oncologist with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Albany.
Dr. Garcia received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed an internship at the University of Chicago followed by a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Garcia received his bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
St. Peter’s Radiation Oncology is welcoming new patients at 317 S. Manning Blvd. in Albany and 2215 Burdett Avenue in Troy.
