Times Union: St. Peter’s Health Partners Cardiovascular Team Part of Albany’s Last Run

On February 2, St. Peter’s Health Partners colleagues participated in National Wear Red Day to show support and raise awareness for the impact of heart disease and stroke on women.

St. Peter’s Health Partners will hold a free educational seminar, titled “Mending the Broken Hearts.” Free and open to the public, the program is intended for patients, their family members and loved ones, and others who are concerned about possible cardiac issues that may lead to surgery.

St. Peter’s Health Partner’s Cardiac and Vascular service will host a free seminar titled: “Veins: You Don’t Have to Live in Pain”  This free seminar is intended for patients, family members and significant others living with the risk of vascular and stroke disease. The seminar will take place: Tuesday, March 19, 2019 6 to 7:30 pm Hilton Garden Inn, Sage Rooms 235 Hoosick Street, Troy  The distinguished speakers will be Kathleen Ozsvath, M.D., and John Taggert, M.D., both vascular surgeons with St. Peter’s Vascular Associates. Dr. Ozsvath and Dr. Taggert will provide information on: • Superficial venous disease – diagnosis and treatment • Deep venous disease – diagnosis and treatment • Wound care for patients Light refreshments will be served.
