Walking and running on a regular basis can dramatically cut a person’s risk of developing heart disease, so clinicians, staff and supporters of St. Peter’s Health Partners’ cardiovascular program took to the pavement for Albany’s Last Run this past weekend. St. Peter’s Health Partner’s Cardiac and Vascular service will host a free seminar titled: “Veins: You Don’t Have to Live in Pain”  This free seminar is intended for patients, family members and significant others living with the risk of vascular and stroke disease. The seminar will take place: Tuesday, March 19, 2019 6 to 7:30 pm Hilton Garden Inn, Sage Rooms 235 Hoosick Street, Troy  The distinguished speakers will be Kathleen Ozsvath, M.D., and John Taggert, M.D., both vascular surgeons with St. Peter’s Vascular Associates. Dr. Ozsvath and Dr. Taggert will provide information on: • Superficial venous disease – diagnosis and treatment • Deep venous disease – diagnosis and treatment • Wound care for patients Light refreshments will be served. Free parking is available behind and adjacent to the hotel. Admission is free, however, space is limited. Registration is required by calling: 1-800-HEART-76 (1-800-432-7876)
