Albany Business Review: Construction Starts on Next Phase of $99 Million Troy Hospital Transformation

St. Peter’s Health Partners broke ground today for its $99 million Troy Master Facilities Plan – a strategic redevelopment project aimed at transforming the face of health care in Troy, Rensselaer County, and the surrounding communities.

St. Peter’s Health Partners broke ground on the centerpiece of its $99 million Troy Master Facilities Plan — a five-story patient pavilion to be named the Heinrich Medicus Pavilion after its $10 million donor.

On Monday, December 4, St. Peter’s Health Partners hosted a Staff and Physician Open House and Ribbon Cutting, and a Public Open House of the the new Samaritan Hospital Emergency Department, opening  on December 7. SPHP Staff, physicians, and supporters were able to tour the new 32,000 square feet facility,  four times larger than the hospital’s previous emergency department, enjoy refreshments, and meet some of the department staff.
