NewsChannel 13: Journey Through the Body – Exploring the Heart

Meet Katie Hemsley, an 11th grader at Amsterdam High School, and a member of the 2019 class of “13 Kids Who Care.”

In celebration of American Heart Month, handmade red hats will be distributed to parents of babies born in February at St. Peter’s Hospital. The program aims to raise awareness about congenital heart defects.
