Spectrum News Ch. 9: Shoveling Dangerous to Individuals With Heart Conditions

Congratulations to Samaritan Hospital which was recognized with the Mission: Lifeline Bronze Receiving Quality Achievement Award by the American Heart Association for its treatment of people who suffer serious heart attacks. The hospital was also named an additional recipient of the Mission: Life Bronze-Plus Award.

Offered every month by Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital, “Walk With a Doc” is a heart-healthy program featuring a walk with an area cardiologist. The next walk is at 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, in Troy.

St. Peter’s Health Partners Cardiac and Vascular services will host an Atrial Fibrillation patient education day at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, at the Albany Marriott.
