The new unit features larger, fully private rooms designed to provide a more comfortable and healing experience for patients, and its advanced equipment and thoughtful design offers an ideal setting in which to provide the highest quality and most compassionate patient-centered care.

On April 17, St. Peter’s Health Partners held an open house to celebrate the new Intensive Care Unit at Samaritan Hospital. The new unit doubles the number of ICU beds from 12 to 24, offers larger rooms and new patient amenities, and provides a more comfortable and healing experience for patients and their families.

St. Peter’s Health Partners will accelerate its Troy Master Facilities Plan and the planned transitions of Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital into specific inpatient and outpatient facilities.
