Times Union: SEEN — St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation Catherine McAuley Reception

The Times Union interviewed Jorge Cerda, M.D., chief of medicine at St. Peter’s Hospital, and Joseph Hunziker, a lab technician at St. Peter’s Hospital, for its story on convalescent plasma therapy. Hunziker contracted the virus in March. Once recovered, he made the decision to donate plasma in hopes of helping others recover.

Steven Hanks, M.D., chief clinical officer for St. Peter’s Health Partners, was featured in an article by the Times Union following a news conference held Tuesday in Albany. During the news conference, clinical leaders from 10 Capital Region hospitals updated the public on their preparedness and response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As summer approaches, parents everywhere are challenged to discover new ways to keep young kids safe around water beyond the traditional safety lecture, adult supervision or pair of swimmies.
