Times Union: St. Peter’s Albany Memorial campus reopens after water main break

The Times Union published an article announcing that emergency department at St. Peter’s Health Partners’ Albany Memorial Campus, located at 600 Northern Blvd., had reopened after temporarily closing due to a water main break.

From the article:

Patients in need of emergency care services overnight were diverted to Samaritan Hospital in Troy and St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, but “thanks to the dedicated, overnight efforts of the facilities team on the campus, all services are back up and running this morning, Thursday, Feb. 2,” hospital spokesman Robert Webster said in a statement.

All outpatient medical appointments and procedures scheduled for Thursday in the hospital were canceled. Patients who received notices of cancelation overnight are asked to contact the department where they were to receive care and reschedule their appointment.

The main entrance to the hospital is still closed at this time, allowing for post-repair cleaning. All patients coming to the hospital for outpatient services are asked to enter through the emergency department entrance. Security and valet services will be available for assistance.
