WAMC: Capital Region Hospitals Merge
WAMC radio aired a story on the merger of Albany Memorial and Samaritan hospitals, which took effect January 1, 2020.
From the story:
As a result of the merger, Albany Memorial becomes a remote location of Samaritan Hospital. Officials with Saint Peter’s Health Partners say the merger will have no impact on services or care provided at either facility.
Signage at 600 Northern Boulevard in Albany will reflect the change, reading Samaritan Hospital – Albany Memorial Campus.
