WNYT NewsChannel 13: St. Peter’s Health Partners Breaks Ground on Samaritan Hospital Campus

On Monday, December 4, St. Peter’s Health Partners hosted a Staff and Physician Open House and Ribbon Cutting, and a Public Open House of the the new Samaritan Hospital Emergency Department, opening  on December 7. SPHP Staff, physicians, and supporters were able to tour the new 32,000 square feet facility,  four times larger than the hospital’s previous emergency department, enjoy refreshments, and meet some of the department staff. St. Peter’s Health Partners held a groundbreaking for a new medical pavilion at its Samaritan Hospital campus in Troy. The new Heinrich Medicus Pavilion, which will be named in honor of the 96-year-old former RPI professor who donated $10 million, is the centerpiece of SPHP’s $99 million Troy Master Facilities Plan.
