t. Peter’s Health Partners — the region’s largest health care system — started construction of a new patient pavilion on the Samaritan Hospital campus in Troy that is part of a $99 million Troy facilities plan.

St. Peter’s Health Partners (SPHP) on May 15 held a dedication and open house to celebrate the new Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Samaritan Hospital. The new unit opened to patients on May 22.

St. Peter’s Health Partners held a groundbreaking for a new medical pavilion at its Samaritan Hospital campus in Troy. The new Heinrich Medicus Pavilion, which will be named in honor of the 96-year-old former RPI professor who donated $10 million, is the centerpiece of SPHP’s $99 million Troy Master Facilities Plan.
