St. Peter’s Hospital’s third annual Heart Recovery Reunion was featured on WRGB/CBS6 News.
The event reunited three patients and their families with the health care providers who helped save their lives. One of those patients, Darrell Holovach of Hoosick Falls, was interviewed for the report.
“One of the things that really sticks with me is while I was unconscious, you were not only caring for me, you were caring for my family,” said Darrell Holovach of Hoosick Falls. “Bringing them blankets in the middle of the night — whatever it took.”
Holovach spent 26 days on life support following a heart attack and surgeries.
He credits this medical team for why he’s still here today.
