Stroke is a major health concern for both men and women. Women, however, tend to have worse outcomes and are more likely to die of a stroke.
In recognition of Stroke Awareness Month, Dr. Colin Hirst of Albany Associates in Cardiology, appeared on WTEN’s Women’s Health Wednesday to talk about the unique risk factors facing women, as well as the symptoms women (and men) should not ignore.
