WTEN: World Diabetes Day

Dr. Olanrewaju Adedokun, a family medicine physician with St. Peter’s Family Health Center, appeared on WTEN ahead of World Diabetes Day to discuss risk factors for the disease. He also talked about the best ways to prevent developing diabetes, including lifestyle changes like diet and exercise.

Dr. Adedokun discussed St. Peter’s Health Partners’ Diabetes Prevention Program, which is offered free to eligible participants. The program focuses on helping participants lose weight, have a better relationship with food, be more physically active, and manage stress.
