On Tuesday, April 7, colleagues at Burdett Birth Center presented homemade baskets to their nursing colleagues at Samaritan Hospital. The baskets, full of snacks, were to express thanks for all that their colleagues on other floors are doing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We in the ICU truly feel the love and support of our colleagues, and are so grateful to our Burdett Birth Center family,” said Vance Marsett, nurse manager for the ICU at Samaritan.
The gesture is just one of many being made by colleagues in support of one another across SPHP. These acts of kindness help lift spirits in a time a great stress and anxiety, and reinforce our mission to serve as a compassionate and transforming healing presence in our communities. Thank you to everyone!
