Thomas Tritt, BE, MS, MD, DABS, has joined Capital District Colon & Rectal Surgery Associates, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates.
A board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Tritt specializes in colon and rectal surgery, offering advanced, compassionate care for patients with both benign and complex colorectal conditions. He brings extensive training in surgical innovation—including minimally invasive and robotic techniques—and a strong commitment to improving outcomes through evidence-based practice.
Dr. Tritt earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. He completed his general surgery residency at Stamford Hospital/Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons Program in Connecticut, followed by a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He received a master’s degree from Rutgers School of Biological Sciences and a bachelor’s degree from the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.
