Board-certified in general surgery, specializing in diseases of the breast, and plastic and reconstructive surgery, Kaufman will practice breast surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as aesthetic surgery. His professional interests include breast cancer treatment and oncoplastic surgery.
Kaufman received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. He completed a residency and fellowship at New York University School of Medicine in New York and the Paris Breast Institute in France.
He also received advanced training in oncoplastic surgery and breast reconstruction from the Paris Breast Institute and Hackensack University Hospital in New Jersey.
Prior to joining St. Peter’s Breast Surgery, Kaufman served as an advanced breast reconstruction surgeon with Hackensack University Hospital.
