St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates Welcomes Dr. Nora Yip

Nora Yip, M.D., FACS, FASCRS

Nora Yip, M.D., FACS, FASCRS, of Capital District Colon & Rectal Surgery Associates, has joined St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates.

A fellowship-trained surgeon, Dr. Yip is board certified in both general surgery and colon and rectal surgery. She specializes in procedures ranging from colonoscopy and advanced new anorectal procedures to minimally invasive laparoscopic and da Vinci robotic intestinal surgery.

Dr. Yip received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed her general surgical residency at the University of Connecticut. During her chief year, she won the Henry Mannix, M.D. award for academic achievement. Dr. Yip completed her fellowship in colon and rectal surgery through the Grant Medical Center/Ohio Health Colon and Rectal Surgical Residency Program in Columbus, Ohio. She received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
