St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates Welcomes Dr. Ujas Shah

Ujas Shah, M.D.

Ujas Shah, M.D., has joined St. Peter’s Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic and General Surgery, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates. A board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Shah practices General, Laparoscopic, and Endocrine surgery.

Dr. Shah’s professional interests include thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer; hypercalcemia and hyperparathyroidism; functional adrenal tumors and adrenal cancers; and minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic general surgery procedures.

Dr. Shah received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany. He completed a residency in General Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in New Hyde Park, New York. He also completed a fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received his bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy.

Prior to joining St. Peter’s Health Partners, Dr. Shah was a clinical instructor of surgery with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
