
Capital Region Urology, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates, is proud to welcome Mary Tompkins, FNP-BC, to its expert team of providers.
A board-certified family nurse practitioner, Tompkins brings more than a decade of clinical experience to her role, with a strong background in both primary care and specialty medicine. She has a particular focus on urologic health, offering comprehensive care for patients managing conditions such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, incontinence, prostate issues, and more.
Prior to joining Capital Region Urology, Tompkins served as a nurse practitioner with New York Hematology Oncology at Albany Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience managing complex patient needs in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.
Tompkins holds a Master of Science in Nursing from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica. She received her bachelor’s degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Jacksonville, Florida, and earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York. She is committed to building strong relationships with her patients, empowering them with the knowledge and support they need to take control of their health.
Outside of work, Tompkins enjoys spending time with her family and is a dedicated supporter at her children’s sporting events.
