St. Peter’s Hospital CCU, PCCU, and ICU Raise $1,260 for Organ Donation and Transplant

Colleagues in the coronary care unit, post coronary care unit, and intensive care unit at St. Peter’s Hospital recently participated in a five-kilometer walk/run to raise money for the Center for Donation and Transplant, New York-Vermont.

Running in November and wearing t-shirts they designed, staff members from the CCU, PCCU, and ICU together raised a total of $1,260 for the nonprofit.

According to the Center for Donation and Transplant, New York-Vermont, the donated money will be used for public education and donor family support initiatives, such as raising public awareness of organ and tissue donation, inspiring more people to become donors, and supporting donors and their families.
