St. Peter’s Health Partners will hold a free educational seminar, titled “Cardiac Surgery: A to Z.”
Free and open to the public, the program is intended for patients, their family members and loved ones, and others who are concerned about possible cardiac issues that may lead to surgery. The event will take place:

Mercy Auditorium – St. Peter’s Hospital campus
310 S. Manning Blvd. (Across the street from the hospital)
The distinguished speaker will be Niloo M. Edwards, M.D., Chief of Cardiovascular Services at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Dr. Edwards will share information about general cardiac surgery, what it means, and its potential for helping patients. He will also discuss valve and aortic surgery, and the factors that help determine if a patient is a candidate for the procedures.
