The Incontinence Treatment Center at St. Mary’s – a member of St. Peter’s Health Partners, the region’s largest health system – will offer free bladder screenings for the community, Thursday, Apr. 30, 10 a.m. – noon, 147 Hoosick St., Suite E, Troy.
Incontinence is a medical condition that can affect anyone at any age. Symptoms include: leaking urine; a strong sudden urge to urinate; frequent urination; inability to control urination; involuntary urination when coughing, sneezing, laughing or participating in other physical activities; and waking up more than twice a night to urinate.
The Incontinence Treatment Center at St. Mary’s offers individualized treatment plans to help patients regain their active lifestyles and peace of mind. The center also participates in national research projects, including pharmaceutical trials.
