St. Peter’s Health Partners is moving forward with planned merger of St. Mary’s and Samaritan hospitals into a single legal entity. The merger will have no impact on services provided at either facility.

Norman Dascher, CEO Samaritan Hospital, participated in a ceremony on May 22 to celebrate the Bennington Rescue Squad receiving a Mission: Lifeline Gold Award. The rescue squad transports all of its heart attack patients to Samaritan Hospital.

On April 17, St. Peter’s Health Partners held an open house to celebrate the new Intensive Care Unit at Samaritan Hospital. The new unit doubles the number of ICU beds from 12 to 24, offers larger rooms and new patient amenities, and provides a more comfortable and healing experience for patients and their families.
