Times Union: New St. Mary’s Cancer Treatment Center Opens

As the leading cause of death among men and women, lung cancer remains the leading cause of all cancer deaths in the United States at 27 percent. More people die from lung cancer than of colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined.

St. Peter’s Health Partners will host a free prostate cancer screening on Monday, September 24, and Tuesday September 26 in Troy.

St. Peter’s Health Partners, in collaboration with the Cancer Services Program of Albany and Rensselaer Counties, Price Chopper, CDTA and the Central Business Improvement District, are teaming up on the “Main Streets Go Blue” campaign to raise awareness of colorectal cancer and provide screenings.
