Spectrum News: COVID-19 vaccinations required for St. Peter’s staff

On Oct. 22, residents of Eddy Hawthorne Ridge, The Eddy’s senior living community in East Greenbush, helped bury a special time capsule on campus as a way to commemorate the unprecedented times we have experienced this year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Celeste DesChamps, interim chief nursing officer at St. Peter’s Hospital, spoke to Spectrum News about the importance of nurses in health care, and the growing need for more nurses in acute care settings as well as in other roles in the community.

Effective Wednesday, August 4, 2021, St. Peter’s Health Partners (SPHP) will be restricting visitation at St. Peter’s Hospital and Samaritan Hospital.
