Members of the Community Service Group at The Terrace at Beverwyck are grateful to Darn Good Yarn of Schenectady and its founder, Nicole Snow, who recently donated hundreds of balls of surplus yarn and knitting needles to the residents and volunteers at the senior living community. The seniors will use the yarn to knit and crochet hundreds of baby hats and blankets; and adult hats, scarves and lap blankets to donate to area hospitals and community organizations in need.
