Troy Record: Good Food for a Good Cause

Thanks to the Electric City Detachment Marine Corps League, the Schenectady Fire Department Station 1, Stewart’s, and Radio 810-WGY for generous donations toward Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital’s pediatric project!

Collectively, the groups donated about $8,000 to benefit the pediatric project.

Eddy Village Green in Cohoes, which offers an innovative approach to caring for seniors compared to traditional nursing homes, is profiled in the April issue of Kiplinger’s Retirement Report.

Alzheimer’s specialist Debi Buzanowski, executive director of Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center in Cohoes, was featured in a Wall Street Journal story about the center’s work with the Lighting Research Center at RPI to study the effect of lighting on dementia patients.
