WNYT/NewsChannel 13 interviewed Christopher Jordan, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient services for St. Peter’s Health Partners Acute Care, for its story on hospital visitation. St. Peter’s Health Partners resumed limited visitation at its acute care facilities on Monday, March 8.

From the story:

After months of not allowing visitors, Albany Medical CenterEllis Medicine, and St. Peter’s Health Partners reopened their doors to visitors Monday, but with certain guidelines in place.

Hospital leaders with St. Peter’s Health partners say visitors play an important role in their patient care.

“We’re very excited to welcome them back at the bedside to communicate better without families, to better advocate for family members to be part of that care delivery process. We are very excited to have them join their loved ones at their bedside,” said Christopher Jordan, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services for St. Peter’s Health Partners Acute Care.
