WNYT: New Patient Pavilion Opens at Samaritan Hospital in Troy

On April 21, The Sexual Assault and Crime Victims Assistance Program at Samaritan Hospital held the 11th annual “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes,” at Riverfront Park in Troy.

A $61,000 gift from St. Peter’s Health Partners will help give more than 1,000 at-risk youth in the Capital Region an opportunity to participate in a free after-school soccer program.

Offered every month by Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital, “Walk With a Doc,” is a heart-healthy program featuring a one-mile walk with an area cardiologist. The next walk is at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, at the Troy Farmers Market.
