WRGB: St. Peter’s Health Partners, Ellis Medicine Sign Letter of Intent to Partner

WRGB reported on the press conference where SPHP and Ellis Medicine announced they signed a letter of intent to examine the formation of a joint affiliation between the two health systems.

Two of the major players in Capital Region health care are considering a partnership. St. Peter’s Health Partners and Ellis Hospital have now signed a letter of intent to merge.

Both organizations say this didn’t have anything to do with COVID. They’ve been looking into this option for the last six years.
