Albany Memorial Hospital first opened its doors in 1868, serving those less fortunate members of the community who were unable to pay for their care. Now, Albany Memorial celebrates a historic milestone — 150 years as a healing presence in the Capital Region.
While the years have brought many lifesaving improvements and technological advancements in health care, one thing remains the same — our tireless commitment to serving the needs of our community with reverence and compassion.
Thank you to all our exceptional physicians, nurses, clinical and administrative colleagues for your selfless service and commitment!
Happy Anniversary, Albany Memorial Hospital! Here’s to another 150 years.
