Congratulations to the team at Eddy SeniorCare in Schenectady for making the entire cast of “The Wizard of Oz” come alive at the 48th Annual Gazette Holiday Parade in Schenectady on November 21. A former patient at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital was so grateful for the great care he received there that he was driven to an all-out effort to construct and donate a brand new patient therapy car to the hospital. See the story in the Daily Gazette here.
Most patients are eager to forget about their hospital experiences after they are discharged, but one former patient at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital wanted to give back, and the result was a brand new one-of-a-kind patient transfer therapy car which he conceived and secured fundraising for through area businesses and his Rotary connections.
