The St. Peter’s Health Partners Trauma Collaborative is hosting a continuing education training: “Trauma-Informed Practice in Health Care.” Occupational therapists and physical therapists will earn two continuing education credits.
This training will focus on best practice, multidisciplinary approaches to service delivery involving patients/clients presenting with complex or lifelong trauma symptoms.
Topics Include:
- Trauma-Informed Best Practices
- Neurobiology of Trauma
- Implications of Trauma in Health Care

The St. Peter’s Health Partners Trauma Collaborative is a multidisciplinary team made up of The Sexual Assault and Crime Victims Assistance Program at Samaritan Hospital (SACVAP), East Greenbush Physical Rehabilitation, and the Albany Memorial Hospital Pelvic Health Center. The team includes trauma counselors, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, who work collaboratively to provide the highest quality health care services.
