Walk for Hospice 2025 Raises More Than $168,000 for Patient Programs

Gray skies couldn’t stop an estimated 1,000 people from turning out to support the Community Hospice’s 25th Annual “Walk for Hospice” at Siena College on Saturday, June 14.

Walkers of all ages got their steps in to honor the memory of loved ones. There was food, fun and performances from entertainment partners The Refrigerators. The event raised more than $168,000 for patient programs, including music and massage therapies to comfort patients, a special Wish Fund, and Camp Erin – a bereavement camp for children and teens who have lost a significant person in their lives.

The Community Hospice also offers FREE grief counseling for the community, ALL free of charge thanks to generous donors and events like the walk. For more information, visit Community Hospice | Offering support and care for people with a life-limiting illness.
