NewsChannel 13: Eddy Health Alert Offers Safety for Seniors

Eddy Village Green at Cohoes, New York state’s first Green House model, shows how traditional nursing home care is reinvented to a family style approach that seniors prefer.

The Terrace at Beverwyck’s Community Service Group receives a generous donation of yarns from Darn Good Yarn of Schenectady and founder, Nicole Snow. Members of the group will use the yarn to make hats, scarves, and lap blankets to donate to area hospitals and community organizations in need.

Congratulations to the Meaningful Milestones awardees at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy. Sixteen staff members received certificates for their five-, 10-, 15-year increments of service and on, all the way to an individual who was honored for 40 years of service!
