SPHP Recognizes National Radiologic Technology Week

Medical imaging and radiation therapy are essential to providing the highest quality comprehensive continuum of care for our patients and those we serve.

During this National Radiologic Technology Week, we would like to say ‘thank you’ to all of the men and women who perform these critical services every day for St. Peter’s Health Partners.

Radiologic technologists embrace their role as compassionate front-line caregivers who also operate state-of-the-art equipment such as X-ray machines, computed tomography scanners and linear accelerators. Their work to produce high quality medical images or perform intricate radiation therapy treatments is crucial in helping physicians diagnose injuries and treat diseases.

National Radiologic Technology Week is held every November, honoring the discovery of the X-ray on November 8, 1895 by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen.

To our colleagues in radiology, thank you for all that you do!
